Vertigo was named Microsoft Partner of the Year for 2008. Vertigo received the prestigious
award for our expertise designing and developing Silverlight applications for the
Web. Specifically, our work on the
Hard Rock Memorabilia Silverlight 2 application was noted as an innovative
and ground-breaking use of Silverlight Deep Zoom. We’re honored to receive this
major award and our success was made possible with our good friends at Duncan/Channon and
Hard Rock Café International.
To accept our award, we were invited to Microsoft’s 2008 World Partner Conference (WPC) in Houston, TX. Vertigo’s
CEO Scott Stanfield was selected to introduce Steve Ballmer for the keynote address.
Several other Vertigo projects were highlighted in morning keynotes including our
WPF best practice application Family.Show and our
Silverlight Mobile casual gaming application.
Vertigo was selected out of a group of over 800,000 global Microsoft partners. We’re
honored that Microsoft has recognized Vertigo and we’re proud to recognize all of
the hard work and dedication of Vertigo’s people.
